1. General Strength Training –
Aka Weight lifting, lifting weights, strength training, resistance training.
When would I use it?
If your main goals are to improve general health and fitness, or you are just starting out in the gym. It’s great if you want to lose weight, tone up or change your appearance or simply just get to the gym to maintain good health.
What does it involve?
You will use a variety of machines, bodyweight movements, dumbbell and barbell movements. All of which can be done in a gym setting or at home.
How do I try it?
Join a local gym, or start online training. You may like a Personal Trainer or coach to help you learn how to weight train safely when you are first starting out.
